Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across the Jackson metro
Every job we do is a roll-off: an open-top steel container that rolls off the back of the truck onto your driveway, lot or job site, sits there while you fill it, and rolls back on when you call. This page is about the box itself — the sizes, the weight, the space it needs and the price — for anyone who just wants to know what they are renting.
The yard is at 1800 Bailey Ave in Jackson, in the 39203 ZIP. I-55 runs north to Ridgeland, Madison and Canton and south to Byram, Terry and Crystal Springs; I-20 runs west to Clinton, Bolton and Edwards and east to Pearl, Brandon and Pelahatchie.

How a roll-off works
The truck backs in, tilts its bed and rolls the container off onto the spot you agreed. You load it over the open top, level with the top rail — never above it. An overfilled box cannot be tarped and cannot legally be hauled. Load evenly, front to back and side to side. Call when it is done; the truck comes back, winches it on, tarps it and hauls it.
Space is the thing to check before you book: about 60 feet of straight, level run for the truck and 25 feet of overhead clearance. Power lines, low tree branches, carports and parked cars are the usual obstacles.
What the flat price includes
Delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup and disposal up to the stated tonnage. Most rentals typically land between $350 and $750, depending on the size, the material, the address, how long you keep it and the weight. Three things add to it: going over the included weight (we weigh the load and charge the overage at the disposal rate), keeping the container past the rental window, and banned items found in the load. We explain all three on the first call. No fuel surcharge, no environmental fee. The quote on the phone is the price.

Roll-off rental across the metro — where the loads go
Mississippi splits debris into two streams. Clean construction and demolition debris, concrete, brick, asphalt, wood, furniture and vegetation can go to a Class I rubbish site — the City of Jackson runs one at 6810 I-55 South Frontage Road in Byram, at $5 a cubic yard for construction debris, rubble, shingles, dirt and vegetation (the City does not publish its hours). Household garbage and mixed loads have to go to a permitted municipal solid waste landfill, because rubbish sites cannot take garbage. Canton is the exception to choice: its code sends all municipal waste from inside the city to the City of Canton landfill on Soldier Colony Road, which posts $38 a ton plus small environmental and fuel charges. Asbestos only goes to a landfill approved for it. We price it flat either way.

Answers
Roll-Off Dumpster Rental — your questions answered
What is the difference between a roll-off and a regular dumpster?
A regular business dumpster is a front-load bin emptied on a route every week. A roll-off is a temporary open-top container delivered for a job and hauled away when you are done.
How full can I load it?
Level with the top rail. Overfilled boxes cannot legally or safely be transported, and the driver will have to leave it or ask you to unload some.
Do I have to be home for delivery?
No. Agree the spot with us in advance, keep it clear of cars and trailers, mark it with cones or tape if you like, and the driver sets it down. Same for pickup.
How quickly can you deliver?
Same-day in Jackson and many nearby cities when you call before noon, depending on availability; next morning is more usual at the edges of our area.
Can I not just haul it to the City rubbish site myself?
You can. The City of Jackson's Class I rubbish site in Byram takes construction debris, rubble, concrete, shingles, dirt and vegetation at $5 a cubic yard, and it cannot take household garbage. Call the City before you go — it does not publish its hours. A roll-off is the option when the job is more than a couple of trailer loads, or you would rather not make the trips.
What does a roll-off cost in Jackson?
Most rentals typically run $350 to $750. You get a flat rate on the phone that covers delivery, pickup, a 7-day rental and the included tonnage for the size you pick — 1 to 2 tons on a 10 yard up to 5 to 6 on a 40. Call (601) 821-2292 with the address and what is going in and you will have a number before you hang up.

Roll-Off Dumpster Rental across the Jackson metro
We run roll-off containers out of the Bailey Avenue yard to every city and town below. Jackson and the close-in cities are usually same-day; the edges of the metro are often next-day. Jackson, Clinton and Brandon license the haulers that work inside their limits, and Canton sends its garbage to its own landfill — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
