Roll-off dumpster rental in Pearl

Approx. 9.5 road miles south-east of the yard, around 21 minutes.

Pearl is about 9.5 road miles south-east of the yard, around 21 minutes, and same-day when you call before noon. It is a city of 28,864 by the Census Bureau's July 2025 estimate (27,115 at the 2020 Census), incorporated in 1973.

Waste Management collects twice a week under City contract, but it will not pick up furniture, appliances and similar household items, and City Code § 30-28 puts construction, demolition and rubble on whoever produced it. That is the roll-off work here.

Local knowledge

Getting our bearings in Pearl

Knowing a city properly is the difference between covering it and showing up with the right box.

  • Incorporated in 1973 — the City calls itself the "Jewel of the Crossroads."
  • Shopping and Trustmark Park — Bass Pro Shops, Sam's, Cavender's, Doris Berry's Farmer's Market and the Outlets of Mississippi.
  • Minutes from the airport — the City says Pearl is "just minutes from the Jackson-Evers International Airport," the state's largest.
  • City Compactor at 201 Compactor Rd (601-932-9222) — bulky loads by vehicle, from $15 a pickup bed for residents; Monday to Friday 7 to 4 (closed 12 to 1) and Saturday 7 to noon; no tires, fuel cans, flammables, limbs, paint or computers.
  • WM residential fee — $22.15 a month ($16.74 for owners 65 and over or disabled), per the fee schedule adopted 15 September 2026.

What comes out of Pearl properties

Kitchens, baths and roofs in 15s and 20s, cleanouts in 20s and 30s, and a 10 for concrete, brick and soil. Code § 30-28 lists what the City will not collect: materials from building, repair or demolition, logs and limbs from contracted tree work, and rubble — concrete, asphalt, rocks, bricks, masonry, sand, soil, tires, gutters and pallets. The City Compactor charges by the load and is shut on Sundays; a big remodel is quicker in one container.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Pearl

Who may haul: no hauler licence, roll-off permit or franchise was found in Pearl's code (Chapters 10, 30 and 32). Household garbage is collected by the City's solid waste contractor (§ 30-27). The City's fee schedule lists a $50-a-year general business licence — ask us to confirm ours when you book.

In the street: no container permit was found. § 30-31(d) makes it unlawful to put refuse in drain ditches, gutters or the traveled street — so the container goes on the driveway, not the street or the ditch.

Demolition: removing a structure needs a City demolition permit — $200 on the fee schedule adopted 15 September 2026. MDEQ also wants 10 working days' notice before regulated demolitions; single homes of four or fewer units are generally exempt.

Summarized from the city's published code and web pages as read in October 2026. Codes change — confirm with the department listed before you rely on it.

How it works

Booking a dumpster in Pearl

Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.

  1. 1

Call and tell us the job

One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No long forms, no waiting on an email.

  2. 2

We size it and quote it flat

You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, brick or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.

  3. 3

    Delivered where you want it

The driver checks the spot and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, with boards under the rails if you want them. Same-day in Jackson if you called before noon, depending on availability.

  4. 4

    Load at your own pace

Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out — tires, car batteries, oil, paint, chemicals, fridges with the refrigerant still in them, and anything hot. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call or text and we are on it.

  5. 5

We haul it and dispose of it right

The load goes out tarped to a permitted rubbish site or landfill, with metal, concrete and clean green waste recycled where the facility takes them. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers

Dumpster rental in Pearl — common questions

Is Pearl same-day?

Usually, yes — about 21 minutes from the yard. Call (601) 821-2292 before noon.

Will Waste Management take my old furniture?

No — the City says WM will not pick up furniture, appliances and similar household items. They go to the City Compactor by the load, or in a container.

Do I need a permit for a dumpster in Pearl?

We found none for a driveway. The code bars refuse in ditches, gutters and the street, so keep the container on the driveway.

Do I need a permit to knock down a shed or house?

Yes — Pearl charges $200 for a demolition permit to remove a structure.
