Roll-off dumpster rental in Madison
Approx. 12 road miles north of the yard, around 19 minutes.
Madison is about 12 road miles north of the yard, around 19 minutes, and same-day when you call before noon. It is a city of 28,575 by the Census Bureau's July 2025 estimate (27,747 at the 2020 Census), across about 25 square miles.
Waste Management collects twice a week under City contract, but it will not pick up construction debris, carpet or building materials, and the City tells homeowners that their tree service has to haul its own debris to a certified landfill. That is the roll-off work here.

What comes out of Madison properties
Kitchens, baths, flooring and roofs in 15s and 20s, estate and move-out cleanouts in 20s and 30s, and a 10 for concrete, brick and tile. WM's free bulk pickup covers furniture and appliances but not construction debris, carpet or building materials, and yard waste stops at 75-lb bags and branches 6 ft long and 10 in across. In a subdivision with covenants, check those too — the City expects HOA approval on permit plans where the covenants require it.

Permits, placement and who may haul in Madison
On your driveway — the rule that matters: Madison's zoning ordinance (§ 5.07.15) allows temporary storage facilities and devices in residential districts only on private property and, unless the Zoning Administrator approves otherwise, on the driveway — with a mandatory $100 fine for each day without the required permit. The section names portable storage units, trailers and inoperable vehicles, not dumpsters, but it is the closest rule, so in Madison the container goes on the driveway. The City also lists "POD storage" among work needing a permit; if you are unsure whether that covers your job, ask permits@madisonthecity.com.
Who may haul: Madison's full code is not published online. We found no hauler licence or exclusive franchise — only the City's residential contract with Waste Management.
In the street: no street or right-of-way permit for containers was found. Driveway only.
Demolition: "Demolition of a building" needs a City building permit. Madison enforces the 2018 International codes, and residential builders must be bonded with the City ($5,000 or 0.5%, whichever is greater).
Summarized from the city's published code and web pages as read in October 2026. Codes change — confirm with the department listed before you rely on it.
How it works
Booking a dumpster in Madison
Booking a container here takes one phone call and about five minutes.
- 1
Call and tell us the job
One short conversation. We ask what you are clearing, where the container needs to sit, and how much room the driveway or lot gives us. No long forms, no waiting on an email.
- 2
We size it and quote it flat
You get one number covering delivery, the 7-day rental, pickup, disposal and a stated tonnage allowance. If a smaller box does the job we will say so. If it is concrete, brick or dirt, we say up front that weight decides the size.
- 3
Delivered where you want it
The driver checks the spot and sets the container square on the driveway, lot or job site, with boards under the rails if you want them. Same-day in Jackson if you called before noon, depending on availability.
- 4
Load at your own pace
Keep it level with the top rail and keep the banned items out — tires, car batteries, oil, paint, chemicals, fridges with the refrigerant still in them, and anything hot. Need a swap mid-job or an early pickup? One call or text and we are on it.
- 5
We haul it and dispose of it right
The load goes out tarped to a permitted rubbish site or landfill, with metal, concrete and clean green waste recycled where the facility takes them. You get your driveway back the way you left it.

Local answers
Dumpster rental in Madison — common questions
Is Madison same-day?
Usually, yes — about 19 minutes from the yard. Call (601) 821-2292 before noon.
Where can the dumpster go at my house in Madison?
On the driveway. Madison's zoning code keeps temporary storage units in residential districts on private property and on the driveway unless the Zoning Administrator says otherwise.
Will Waste Management take my remodel debris?
No — the City says no construction debris, carpet or building materials will be picked up. A container takes it.
My tree service left a pile — will the City collect it?
No. The City says the homeowner must have the tree service or landscaper haul its debris to a certified landfill. A container on the driveway gives them somewhere to put it.
Service area
Every city and town we cover
We run roll-off containers out of the Bailey Avenue yard to every city and town below. Jackson and the close-in cities are usually same-day; the edges of the metro are often next-day. Jackson, Clinton and Brandon license the haulers that work inside their limits, and Canton sends its garbage to its own landfill — each page says so plainly. If your town is not listed, call anyway.
